Low-Hanging Window

A down-hung window, also known as an inverted window, is a type of window that has both a casement window opening style and the ability to invert.
A casement window is a window with a set of hardware that opens and closes inward. This hardware allows the window to be used not only in the casement position, but also in the inverted position, i.e., the upper part of the sash is tilted inward, thus achieving the effect of ventilation.
According to the use scene: balcony, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom. Especially in humid weather, it can be inverted to change the air; according to the use method: it can be opened flat or inverted.
Advantages of lower-hung windows
1. Inverted windows generally have two ways of opening: casement and inverted, which can be flexibly selected by users according to different weather conditions and ventilation needs.
2. The opening angle of the window in the inverted state is small, even if the thief can reach into the window, it is difficult to open the window to enter the room, which provides a guarantee for family safety.
3. The inward opening design makes the window even if the hardware fails and other accidents, the window will only fall indoors, will not fall outdoors, effectively avoiding the falling objects on pedestrians and other injuries, especially suitable for high-rise buildings.

The inverted window mostly adopts multi-locking point sealing design, when the window is closed, the window sash and the window frame closely fit, which can effectively block the intrusion of wind, rain, dust and noise, and greatly enhance the sealing, heat preservation and sound insulation properties of the window, creating a more comfortable and quiet environment for the indoor, lowering the energy consumption, and saving the cost of heating or cooling.
5. The sash of the inverted window can be opened completely inward, which is convenient for users to wipe the inner and outer surfaces of the window easily. Compared with the outward opening window, there is no need to probe the body out of the window, avoiding the danger of cleaning from a high place, which is both safe and convenient, especially for the tenants who live on the higher floors.
6. When the inverted window is opened, the window sash is tilted towards the interior, occupying a relatively small space, which will not occupy the interior space as much as the case of the inner casement window, avoiding the mutual interference with the indoor furniture, curtains, lifting hanging rods and other items, making the indoor space more neat and open, and improving the space utilization rate.
